October Favourites

SONY DSC

It’s that time of the month again, when we look back at our most used products and give them some appreciation. Surprisingly, it does seam like a long time since I did my September Favourites, so there were a lot of products on my list, but I decided not to include anything that’s been less then a three week like/love and settled with these five.

It’s been definitely getting colder and I’m not going to lie, I love the autumn feeling. Wrapping yourself up before going out does sometimes get quite annoying, but there is a definite coziness factor in having a big fluffy scarf around your face, so that only your eyes and the tip of the nose poke out. I mentioned this amazing Zara Neon Checked Maxi Scarf in my recent Fashion Haul and it’s been a constant companion of mine, when stepping out in the cold, ever since.

A nice perfume is also an Autumn must-have for me. It has to be soft and soothing, but fresh at the same time. Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede is just the perfect match, I’ve been loving it more and more every single day and haven’t been able to resist a little spray even when I’m not going anywhere, just having a quite night in.

My next favourite is a rediscovery. It’s the Clarins Fix’ Make-Up spray, which I used to use every single day in the Spring time and I don’t really know why I stopped. It does a really good job of holding make up in place and refreshes your skin at the same time. And it smells like roses.

Another skin care product that I’ve been liking is the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo. I’ve had it for a really long time, but my skin didn’t really get one with it the first time I tried it, so it’s been siting in the draw. But I decided to give it another go, after my skin was struggling to recover from a breakout and it worked wonderfully. I’m not to keen on the smell, but it fades quickly and the texture is really nice and light.

My last favourite is something I use almost every other day. I have a full fringe so a dry shampoo is a necessity, without it I would have to wash my hair every day, and we all know that that’s not a good thing to do. By now I’ve tried quite a few and this one’s my favourite by far. It’s the Vo5 Refresh Me Quick Dry Shampoo. It does a really good job of (surprise, surprise) refreshing my hair, it smells good and doesn’t leave any white marks. Good, isn’t it?

Do you have any autumny favourites?
