My Skincare Routine

In the past few months I have fallen in love with skincare.

Don’t get me wrong, I have always used a moisturiser and some form of face wash, but ever since I saw Pixiwoo’s interview with Caroline Hirons I’ve realised, how much more there is. So my routine has been extended and the number of products I use grown.

In the morning I start with using the nSpa Hot Cloth Polish, massage it in to my skin and then take it off with a warm face cloth. After that I use the Alpha-H Moisture Boosting Mist as a toner and then follow with Eyesilix, Pepta-bright and Hydraluron from Indeed Labs. For my moisturiser I use Lait-Crème Concentré by Embryolisse.

The last three are firm favourites of mine. Pepta-bright and Hydraluron have really helped my dehydrated and unevenly toned skin and they are light enough to work under makeup, without messing with it.

My evening routine is a tiny bit longer. I start with using the Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover, (as I wear contact lenses, I prefer taking my eye makeup of prior to using facial cleansers), then follow with the Rose Miracle Makeover Facial Oil from Superfacialist by Úna Brennan as my first cleanse and the nSpa Hot Cloth Polish as my second. I use a warm face cloth for removing both. After this I take a cotton wool pad and apply the Clarins Gentle Exfoliating toner and when it has dryer, spray a bit of the Alpha-H Moisture Boosting Mist on top. Then I follow with Estée Lauders Advanced Night Repair II as my night serum, Eyesilix and Lait-Crème Concentré by Embryolisse. For moisturising my lips I love Reve de Miel by Nuxe.

I’ve seen a massive improvement in my skin ever since I’ve been sticking to this routine and I actually look forward to using all of the products morning and evening.

On top of my routines I like to treat my skin once or twice a week with a mask. For purifying I love using the Tea Flower Depp Clean Pore Purifying Clay Mask from Superfacialist by Úne Brrennan and, for extra moisture, the Clarins HydraQuench Cream Mask. Both feel really light on the skin and deliver really good results.

And at times when I get a blemish or two I like using the Origins Spot Remover as an overnight treatment and the Caudalie Beauty Elixir as a toner, as it takes the redness away and calms the skin.

What are your skincare must haves?

P.S. All of the Superfacialist and Indeed Labs products are currently on save 1/3 in Boots. 🙂
